SPECTRUM & SPARK Project Coordinator

Doherty Institute, University of Melbourne

Laura Bannerman is the project coordinator for both SPECTRUM and SPARK, two closely aligned projects which both utilise quantitative methods to strengthen preparedness and improve decision making for the control of infectious diseases. These consortia are directed by Professor Jodie McVernon. Laura manages various aspects of the operation and implementation of project activities.

Laura has a background in international development and not-for-profit project coordination, and holds a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Masters in International Public Health from the University of Sydney. passionate about international health and capacity building in low- to middle-income countries.
